Calvary in Roanoke Rapids organized a Girls Night Out on July 28th with almost 40 young ladies from several local churches in attendance. They gathered at the East 10th Street Church of Christ. Alyssa Nelson, Calvary Youth Ministry Intern, organized the event. The dinner and program included a time of worship, Bible teaching, and the testimonies of several ladies as they shared how a relationship with Christ freed them from sins and struggles in their lives.
Throughout the evening, the gospel of Christ was clearly presented. Rev. Chris Parker, Calvary Associate Pastor reported, “The community was present everywhere, from the kitchen to the stage as women graciously served the high school and college girls in our community. Thanks to the association for making this night possible.”
