ASSOCIATION NEWS UPDATE
We are excited to share the incredible progress made last Saturday during the NRBA Handyman Ministry Project. A remarkable group of 37 men from twelve different churches came together to support the new Hispanic Church Plant at the former Park Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids. The spirit of cooperation and dedication was truly inspiring, and we are grateful for everyone's hard work.
A Day of Achievement and Fellowship - Our volunteers accomplished a great deal in just one morning. Highlights of the day included:

-
Community and Fellowship: Halifax Church provided a grill and served a delicious breakfast of sausage biscuits, followed by a cheeseburger and hot dog lunch with all the trimmings.
-
Productive Efforts: Volunteers eagerly tackled various projects, such as:
-
Trimming shrubbery
-
Removing old carpet and trash, filling a large dumpster
-
Collecting usable items for the InJoy truck
-
Prepping inside walls for painting
-
Installing new LED fixtures in the sanctuary
-
Painting the Fellowship Hall
-
Beginning to paint the outside doors and trim
-

Upcoming Tasks and Call for Volunteers - while we have made significant progress, there is still a considerable amount of painting that needs to be completed.
We need your help to finish the job! We are seeking volunteers to adopt and complete one or more of the following painting projects:

-
Classroom(s)
-
Outside trim
-
Outside door(s)
-
Restroom(s)
-
Office(s)
How You Can Help - we will provide the paint, but we ask volunteers to bring their painting equipment. Our goal is to complete all painting by the first part of August.

-
Check with your Men's Ministry Leader: See if a group from your church can participate in this meaningful project.
-
Choose a Project: Pick a painting project that your group can complete.
-
Join Us in SERVE NC: This initiative perfectly aligns with the Baptist State Convention SERVE NC emphasis from August 3-10.
This is a fantastic opportunity to serve our community and support the growth of the new Hispanic Church Plant. Your help and dedication will make a lasting impact. Thank you for considering this request and for your continued support of our mission.
