Benvenue Drive-through Prayer Ministry

One of our core values at Benvenue is that we treasure prayer. We believe the presence of God in the church is directly proportional to the amount of prayer that takes place there. That is why we devote a great deal of our time to prayer. When we considered prayer in light of our mission, we thought: ‘What better way to reach our community than to pray with them?’ Of course we pray for them, but we wanted to take it one step further. From that desire, Drive-Thru Prayer was born. Every fifth Saturday (for now), we spend two hours inviting people to drive through so our prayer team can listen to what’s going on in their lives and pray over them.
God has already blessed us with the opportunity to pray with many in our community and share the love of Jesus. Others have driven past the church only to turn around, sensing God's prompting that they needed prayer. Some have even joined us in worship the next day. We praise God for the ways he is moving! We look forward to seeing how he continues to work as we keep trusting him through the power of prayer.
