The Knitting Ministry at Sunset Avenue Church meets monthly and we have in the past provided 8” squares to be sent to Africa for the aids patients. We have done scarves and helmet liners for our soldiers. We also knitted scarves for Special Olympics and afghans for our church members and those in nursing homes. We did booties, hats and blankets for the Your Choice Resource Pregnancy Care Center and we are now working on scarves for cancer patients. Thank you Rock Creek Church for providing some of our yarn for these projects.
