We are grateful to Union Missionary Church for allowing the association to purchase their outstanding 7 by 16 utility trailer. Dr. Jim Whitehead and the North Roanoke Baptists on Mission Ministry see this as an essential first step in developing a coordinated effort in the areas of Disaster Relief and Handyman Ministry. When discussing the need for a trailer, (without knowing of its availability), they described the features of this exact trailer prepared for this purpose. Member churches will be asked to assist in the purchase of needed equipment and tools. It is hoped that by next Spring, the trailer will be fully equipped and available for individual congregations to use as well as major ministry projects involving many churches.
