United Community Ministries
United Community Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization who is a devoted to making a difference in the community. We provide the highest quality programs that benefit homeless and nearly homeless residents in the Twin County and surrounding areas. We currently have five programs:

Agency History:
United Community Ministries was created in 1993 by the merger of Community Ministries and Crisis Ministry Center.
Today their programs include:

* Family Assistance Network
* House the Children / Bassett Center
Mission Statement:
To provide a nurturing and supportive environment for homeless and nearly homeless families and individuals as they move toward wholeness.
