Victor E Balasoto became a born-again believer of the Lord Jesus Christ on May 17, 1982. He graduated with a BA degree in Theology at the Asia Baptist Bible College in Manila, Philippines, and a BS degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at the University of Santo Tomas, also in Manila. He is married to Regina Victorino and they have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Myrrh Rachel and Abigail Joy. He served as pastor for four years in the Philippines. For sixteen years, he planted and pastored Filipino churches in Lanham and Bowie, in Maryland, and in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. He has been involved in short-term mission work in Central America for six years. He also led a team to help organize a church in Milan, Italy.

 

In the last five years, he has expanded his technical skills to include Computer maintenance and repair, Helpdesk Support, Network Administration, Server Virtualization, Wired and Wireless Systems Administration, and VoIP Management, and achieved certifications in Cisco, Microsoft, CWNP, VMware, and more recently, Web Development and Python Programming. He is currently working full time as Network Security Engineer at AT&T, and part time as IT Specialist at the North Roanoke Baptist Association and the NorthSide Community Church. He has done volunteer work for the Peacemakers of Rocky Mount, helping them build a computer lab and set up a Microsoft domain network.
