At the present Community Center Baptist Church WOM are involved with the making of some unique lap robes for residents of Carolina Rest Home Resident, Roanoke Rapids. The lap robes are colorful and have two pockets that will center in their laps. The pockets would hold their tissues, glasses, gum, pen and notebook, anything they want handy. These would be especially helpful for a bedridden patient. Another project, is Cross in the Pocket. Handcrafted small crosses with Scripture verses tucked inside that we use as a tool to share Jesus.
