The Deacon/Spouse Banquet had about 200 in attendance representing 20 churches. We are thankful for Englewood Church for hosting this event. The meal was catered by Main Event Catering from Roanoke Rapids. The owner, Bruce May, is a deacon from Good News Church. Evangelist Steve Freeman, www.stevefreemanministries.org, shared his testimony in message and song. Dr. Chuck Lawless, www.chucklawless.org, from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, is also a nationally known church revitalization consultant.
