Macedonia Church has had a series of Community Suppers that have served as a means of building relationships with the local community and surrounding area. The most recent event included BBQ and fried chicken with all the fixings. Several members of Southside and Elm Grove and other nearby congregations joined with the Macedonia folks. This was also a great opportunity for the church to connect with unchurched friends in the surrounding neighborhood.
Mrs. Amy Kornegay provided a meaningful presentation of the blessings of God in our lives through song and personal testimony. She is highly regarded in the community as a singer, songwriter, pianist, and speaker. She and her husband Billy have established Counting the Cost Ministries which sends ministry supplies and disaster relief to Caribbean Countries.
