Regional DR Training @Rosemary

“On Saturday, 2/21 Rosemary Baptist had the privilege of hosting the North Carolina Baptists on Mission’s regional Disaster Relief Training Event. Baptists from all over the state gathered to train in the various skills required to participate in disaster relief. Our church prepared meals for the NCBOM team on Friday night and Saturday morning, and provided our facilities and grounds for those who attended. Our church has long been involved in disaster relief. Since Hurricane Katrina, teams from Rosemary Baptist have gone on disaster relief trips. Many of our members were able to learn more skills at the training event, and are eager to go when the next disaster strikes. We continue to be involved in Handy Man ministries. We have worked on multiple ramps this year, and have invested in using temporary aluminum ramps in addition to our ability to build wooden ramps.”
