Maranatha Church combined a Valentines Day emphasis with Ladies Day during Sunday morning worship on Feb. 9. The ladies all dressed in red and formed a special choir for the service. A variety of ministry projects completed by the lady’s ministries in recent months and plans for the future were shared with the congregation. Joy Little, the pastor’s wife, shared a devotional emphasizing the theme for the day. She reminded us of the importance of love for the Lord and one another as we serve those around us in His name. Pastor Mike Little’s message from 1 Samuel 25 regarding the wisdom and character of Abigail, (who became the David’s wife), sets a high standard for us all to follow. Each lady received candy and a special Valentine’s Day gift bag.
