The “Rusty Hubcaps” from Halifax County presented a great program that complemented the “Hillbilly Christmas” theme for the Sr. Luncheon on Dec. 4. The gathering was wonderfully hosted by Sunset Avenue Church with 332 registering from 35 member churches. It is always encouraging to be part of an energetic, enthusiastic group of Senior’s who create a “packed house.” Robert Harris and staff from Littleton catered a delicious traditional holiday meal. We would like to thank Emily Jones, our new Sr. Citizens Ministry Leader and Brenda Stephenson for arranging such an enjoyable event. Emily stated that she had a great time and is looking forward to the Spring Meeting at West Edgecombe.
