Rosemary Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids worked to remove a wooden ramp and re-establish it in another location in Roanoke Rapids. The leaders for this project were Scott Aman of Rosemary and George Smiley of Calvary. The people who were there to work on December 29, 2022 was George Smiley, Brian Simmons, Johnny Perdue.
Also, present Jon Mills and Rev. John Hamm from the Association Office. Scott Aman was not present due to a Family Emergency. Mills said, “it’s a great feeling to know that you are doing the work of the Lord while helping people in need.” Mills believes that churches should work together for the Lord. We are all in it together as Christians-not just one person or one group.”
