One of the ways we've been seeking to impact lostness at Sunset Avenue Baptist Church is through our community ministries at Kings Way and Stonegate communities. In both locations, things like children's ministries, Bible studies, and tutoring take place on a weekly basis. In all things, the desire is to show the love of Christ and to get to the gospel. The work is difficult but rewarding. As an example, a couple of years ago a young girl at Stonegate gave her life to Christ one Sunday evening as our Student Ministry worked there. Not too long after that, the little girl tragically lost her life in a severe asthma attack. What a joy it was for our students and leaders to know that they had had a part in ensuring this little girl's eternal life. Ongoing ministry with this family has been a great blessing.
