On October 27th, Union Missionary
Baptist Church had a Fall Festival Outreach attended by over 300 people from our community. Using a grant from our association we were able to purchase signs and flyers to promote this event in our community on Highway 97 and beyond. We passed out over 600 flyers door to door and promoted the Festival on Radio and the Internet. Over 50 people from our church worked booths, fed hotdogs, and popcorn, have train rides and hayrides, and shared the gospel with attendees. A picture was taken of each family and we are still in the process of delivering these pictures personally to the families which gives us another opportunity to share the gospel and invite people to our church. The grant from our association enabled us to enhance our promotion and advertising, and led to the success of our project in reaching out to our community.
